my own island

I am going to design and make a new island top for my own kitchen
it will be ALL ME, big, strong, colorful, and irregular in shape.
It will serve well in a small but busy kitchen and replace the temporary
island top - (wood, made from a discarded dining room table)
will post pics when I get it started
